Deputy Chief Operating Officer
Doug Wale joined Premier Technology's team in the spring of 2017, as the Commercial Nuclear Business Unit Manager, where he successfully led his team for two years in project execution. Doug is a positive leader, and does well at implementing complex systems, and solving difficult problems. Because of his many attributes Doug's role was expanded to Deputy Chief Operating Officer, in the spring of 2019.
In this new leadership capacity, Doug oversees Premier's company-wide project execution, and all the accompanying process. Doug has a unique ability to manage detail, while maintaining a long term vision of the end goal, which in turn makes him a very effective and successful leader.
Doug has over 25 years of nuclear industry experience. His experience includes nuclear plant operations and lifecycle management with the US Navy, Department of Energy and commercial nuclear sectors, as well as engineering and execution of complex Naval Nuclear reactor plant refueling projects. He has managed nuclear programs with annual budgets of over $150 Million and roughly 300 project management and controls, engineering, oversight, supervisory and craft employees.
Doug has a Bachelor's of Science degree from Excelsior College, is a certified Project Manager and is a member of the American Nuclear Society.
Doug and his wife, Shyne, enjoy spending time with their family and love the outdoors - camping, hiking, dirt bike riding, and training with their dogs. He is also a member of the American Motorcycle Association and Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation.
