    Quality Assurance

    Position Summary:
    We are looking for a Quality Control Inspector to join our team. Working collaboratively within the Quality Assurance department following established procedures and projects requirements, the Quality Control Inspector plays a key role in upholding product quality and regulatory compliance throughout the manufacturing processes. This position supports project teams and customers to ensure the project meets quality standards, project requirements, and technical specifications. The Quality Control Inspector is open to entry level and advanced level candidates who are committed to personal growth in a hands-on environment.  

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Interpret blueprints, engineering drawing, and GD&T call outs
    • Ability to utilize standard measuring tools (Calipers, micrometers, tape measures, etc.)
    • Trains and assist other inspectors with their duties, as needed
    • Prepare inspection reports and logs that show the details of all tests and/or inspections performed
    • Perform visual, mechanical, and dimensional inspections in accordance with approved/controlled documentation
    • Perform first article, in-process, and final inspections on parts and assemblies
    • Report nonconformities and support resolution efforts through communication with project managers, quality engineers, and quality control supervisors
    • Must pass background check, employment verification, and drug screening
    • Due to government contract requirements, applicants must be U.S. citizens

     Preferred Qualifications:

    • Experience working under NQA-1, ISO, and/or DOE Order 414.1D quality programs.
    • Experience with B31.1 and B31.3 work
    • Experience with ASME Section III and/or ASME Section VIII quality programs
    • Experience with AISC quality program.

    Primary Function
    The Manufacturing Equipment Maintenance Technician Lead is responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair of manufacturing equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime. This role involves leading a team of technicians, coordinating maintenance schedules, troubleshooting complex equipment issues, and implementing preventative maintenance programs. The lead technician acts as a liaison between maintenance staff, production teams, and management, ensuring smooth operations and compliance with safety and quality standards.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    • Supervise Maintenance Team: Lead, direct, and manage a team of maintenance technicians, ensuring efficient and effective performance of maintenance activities. Provide guidance, training, and support to ensure high standards of work and safety are maintained.
    • Preventive Maintenance Management: Oversee the development and execution of preventive maintenance schedules for equipment, machinery, and building systems to minimize downtime and ensure optimal functioning.
    • Troubleshooting and Repairs: Lead troubleshooting of routine and predictive maintenance as outlined in manufacturer recommendations for various tools and equipment. This equipment includes, but is not limited to, CNC equipment, cranes and hoists, small gas engines, electrical circuitry, various forms of hydraulics, and mechanical functions to ensuring prompt resolution of issues to minimize production or operational downtime.
    • Must possess low and high voltage electrical safety knowledge and safe work practices including LOTO, DMM usage to troubleshoot low and high voltage circuits safely.
    • Equipment Inspections: Conduct regular inspections of equipment and systems to identify potential issues and ensure compliance with regulatory standards and safety protocols. Remove from service non-functioning equipment. Troubleshoot, repair, adjust tools/equipment and return to service.
    • Work Orders and Documentation: Manage and prioritize work orders, ensuring timely completion of tasks. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, parts inventory, and service history for accountability and future reference.
    • Inventory Management: Oversee the inventory of maintenance supplies and tools, ensuring that necessary parts and equipment are available to complete repairs and preventive maintenance tasks.
    • Safety Compliance: Ensure that maintenance work is performed in compliance with safety regulations and company policies. Promote a culture of safety within the maintenance team and throughout the organization.
    • Budget and Cost Management: Monitor and control maintenance budgets, identifying opportunities to reduce costs without compromising quality. Assist in forecasting future maintenance needs and equipment replacements.
    • Training and Development: Provide training for new and existing team members on best practices, safety protocols, equipment handling, and troubleshooting techniques. Foster an environment of continuous improvement and skill development.
    • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with other departments (e.g., production, facilities, engineering) to understand maintenance needs, address concerns, and contribute to improving operational efficiency.
    • Emergency Response: Be available for emergency maintenance and repair situations outside of normal working hours to ensure the continuity of operations.
    • Continuous Improvement: Proactively identify areas for improvement in maintenance processes, equipment, and systems. Lead efforts to implement best practices, new technologies, and innovative solutions to enhance reliability and efficiency.
    • Must be adaptable and able to switch between tasks as production demands shift to different equipment.

    • Ability to communicate and report effectively.
    • Should be comfortable working with a computer. Experience with Microsoft Office, including Excel, preferred.

    Additional skills:
    A strong working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment is required. Strong problem-solving skills, substantial interpersonal skills, excellent verbal, and written skills as well as intermediate computer skills are a must. The ability to interpret electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics and drawings and a working knowledge of CNC controllers, control circuits and process instrumentation is required.

    • Calculates and sets controls to regulate machining factors such as speed, feed, coolant flow, and depth and angle of cut, or enters commands to retrieve, input, or edit computerized machine control media.
    • Starts and observes machine operation to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining and adjusts machine controls or control media as required.
    • Verifies conformance of finished work piece to specifications.
    • Sets up and operates machine on trial run to verify accuracy of machine settings or programmed control data.
    • Develops specifications from general description and draws sketch of part or product to be fabricated.
    • Confers with engineers, production personnel, programmers, or others to resolve machining or assembly problems.
    • Plans and performs a variety of machine operations utilizing numerical control machining centers to cut, shape, or form metal work pieces to specifications.
    • Interprets complicated drawings, program sheets, instructions, and process sheets to determine work to be done.
    • Performs a variety of milling, drilling, boring, or related operations to close and interrelated tolerances.
    • Performs a variety of inspection and gauging operations to insure maintenance of quality standards and specifications.
    • Performs machine maintenance.

    Primary Function:
    The Journeyman/Journeywoman Electrician assists in the electrical construction of shop fabricated equipment as well as field installation of electrical systems. Works with and maintains 480VAC, 120VAC, and LVLE electrical systems. Plans layout, installs, and repairs wiring, electrical fixtures, apparatus, and control equipment by performing the following duties:

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Plan and complete new installations or modify existing infrastructure - minimizing waste of materials, maintaining NEC code, customer requirements, and Premier Technology standards.
    • Read blueprints, prepare sketches, and maintain documentation of the work process and completed project.
    • Troubleshoot circuitry in new and existing electrical systems, repair or recommend corrective action.
    • Plan and install conduit run, pull, and terminate wiring. Wire motors, controls, lighting, switches, relays, panels, instrumentation, and other industrial complex needs.
    • A high degree of travel is a requirement of this job. Must have a STAR Card (Real ID) Driver’s License or current Passport.

    Skilled Trades / Support

    **Frequent travel and over time are required, with potential overnight stays or extended assignments at remote locations.

     

    Primary Function:
    Traveling Craftsman/Welder will work on diverse projects at multiple locations throughout the United States and must be able to adapt to different working environments while ensuring timely and efficient completion of tasks.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:  

    • Travel to designated job sites, which may vary in location and duration. Accommodations and travel expenses will be provided.
    • Install, dismantle or move machines/processes, structural components, or mechanical mechanism at customer facilities, according to layout plans, blueprints or other drawings.
    • Perform millwright work with some degree of proficiency.
    • Capable of performing schedule pipe and sanitary tube welding.
    • Proficient in welding the following: GMAW, GTAW, FCAW
    • Basic understanding of weld quality control, welding code standards and specifications, non-destructive examination and radiography (x-ray testing of welds),
    • Lay-out and fabricate stairs and handrails.
    • Fabricate, repair, and maintain sheet metal items.
    • Communicate job progress, issues, and solutions effectively with team members and supervisors.
    • Maintain professional relationships with customers and site personnel, providing high-quality work and excellent customer service to foster positive working relationships and repeat business.
    • Must have a STAR Card (Real ID) Driver’s License or current Passport.
    • Other duties may be assigned.

    Minimum Qualifications/Experience:
    Craft I
    High School Diploma or general education degree (GED) and one (1) to three (3) years related experience and/or equivalent combination of education, training and experience.Craft II

    Associates degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school and three (3) to six (6) years related experience and/or equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

    Craft III
    Associates degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school and five (5) to ten (10) years related experience and/or equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

    Experience reading blueprints.

    **Frequent travel and over time are required, with potential overnight stays or extended assignments at remote locations.

    Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations:

    Must be able to pass weld tests in accordance with AWS and ASME codes.
