Interlocking shielding bricks are used where the highest level of shielding is required for X-Ray beta and gamma
shielding. Each shielding brick is manufactured with interlocking tongue and groove edges. Dimensions and
thickness vary according to the customer's shielding requirements.
Manufactured from 99.99% virgin lead, our bricks are flat and clean, with a smooth non-porous surface.
These bricks provide efficient and tight fit shielding when stacking or building walls. We can fabricate
walls, coves, gloveboxes, hot cells and containers of any lead thickness for your special requirements.
We recognize that physicians and equipment makers depend upon the creative use of shielding to ensure

shielding analysis and create a design that meets your requirements.
Premier Technology, Inc. has extensive experience manufacturing lead and lead-lined products
for the nuclear, pharmaceutical, and medical industries. Our manufacturing facilities can provide you with a
variety of lead products, and we install these products at your facility. Installation is not complicated, but
because even relatively small lead items are quite heavy, we often use various types of cranes for heavy
lifting (see photo).
Although lead walls are obviously "just lead walls," the lead in our "finished" products such as gloveboxes and
hot cells is encapsulated in precision crafted stainless steel. This creates a durable and rugged product that
is easy to clean and conveys the professionalism you expect.
