Premier Technology, Inc. Celebrates Safety Milestones

Premier Technology, Inc. celebrated 3 years without a lost time accident on September 30, 2011. This occasion was marked with a Safety Luncheon for all of its employees on October 4^th.  This is the crowning event for a phenomenal year of Safety for Premier. In May, we celebrated 2,000,000 hours without a lost time accident and soon thereafter in June, we celebrated 1000 days without a lost time accident. Both of these events were celebrated by events sponsored by the Premier Safety Committee. At the close of 2010, we had 1184 days without a lost time accident. Our Total Recordable Incident Rate (TRIR) finished at 2.4 while out industry average is 6.9. To top all of this off our EMR (Experience Modification Rate) is .70.

Safety of our employees is the most important core value at Premier.  Our goal is to make sure that everyone who works at Premier goes home to their families each day, safe and without injury.  These milestones could not be attained without all of our employees participating in safety awareness and prescribed safety procedures.  All employees are encouraged to report unsafe conditions and acts to further prevent safety incidents at our facility and while traveling and working at various jobsites.
