Journeyman Electrician

Primary Function:
The Journeyman/Journeywoman Electrician assists in the electrical construction of shop fabricated equipment as well as field installation of electrical systems. Works with and maintains 480VAC, 120VAC, and LVLE electrical systems. Plans layout, installs, and repairs wiring, electrical fixtures, apparatus, and control equipment by performing the following duties:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Plan and complete new installations or modify existing infrastructure - minimizing waste of materials, maintaining NEC code, customer requirements, and Premier Technology standards.
  • Read blueprints, prepare sketches, and maintain documentation of the work process and completed project.
  • Troubleshoot circuitry in new and existing electrical systems, repair or recommend corrective action.
  • Plan and install conduit run, pull, and terminate wiring. Wire motors, controls, lighting, switches, relays, panels, instrumentation, and other industrial complex needs.
  • A high degree of travel is a requirement of this job. Must have a STAR Card (Real ID) Driver’s License or current Passport.

Minimum Qualifications/Experience:
Fifth year college or university program certificate; or two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Must be a licensed electrician in the State of Idaho and capable of obtaining licenses in other states.

Ability to teach and mentor apprentice electricians.

It is estimated that this position requires an individual to travel 60% to 70% of the time.

The employee is occasionally exposed to high, precarious places, fumes or airborne particles, mild industrial chemicals, inclement weather, risk of electrical shock and vibration. It is essential for employees to maintain awareness of their surroundings and when required, wear the necessary PPE. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.

Primary Function:
Work with Account Managers and Business Unit leaders to develop accurate cost projections and customer proposals for fabrication and manufacturing projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and interpret customer RFQs, including drawings, specifications, and supporting documentation
  • Work with manufacturing engineers to outline production approaches that establish the basis for cost estimates
  • Determine projected expenses for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontracted services
  • Source and evaluate vendors and subcontractors to support project pricing
  • Create detailed cost breakdowns and assist in developing project timelines using scheduling tools
  • Support the preparation and submission of quotes and customer proposals
  • Coordinate with internal teams to confirm availability of labor, materials, and equipment
  • Contribute to technical proposal documentation as needed
  • Present estimate details for internal review and approval
  • Compare estimated vs. actual project costs and identify variances
  • Track pricing trends and recommend opportunities for cost savings and process improvements

Qualifications:

  • Associate degree in a related field OR equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
  • 5+ years of related experience, OR at least 1 year in estimating or 2+ years in a fabrication/manufacturing role
  • Ability to read and interpret fabrication and technical drawings
  • Working knowledge of manufacturing processes and production workflows
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Word); training provided for internal systems
  • Preferred experience government regulations
  • Willingness to work additional hours when needed to meet proposal deadlines

Contract Administrator

Primary Function: 
Primarily responsible for reviewing and aiding in the development and negotiation of contracts and contract changes. 
   
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:  

  • Reviews draft contracts and terms and conditions from customers for the various business units.
  • Identifies areas of risk within the documents and provides mitigation strategies including alternative language.
  • Aids Account Managers in the negotiation of terms and conditions
  • Supports the development of teaming agreements, non-disclosure agreements, and other business documents. 
  • Assists the Procurement Department in the development of subcontracts.
  • Assists Project Managers in the preparation of change order proposals.

Blast Booth Operator

Primary Function:
Operates a blasting system that abrades surfaces of metal or hard composition objects to remove adhering scale, sand, paint, grease, tar, rust, and dirt, and to impart specified finish. The vast majority of blasting operations take place within a heated booth. Occasionally equipment is operated outside.

Operation of abrasive blasting equipment on both carbon and stainless steel. Blast media consists primarily of glass beads, steel grit and occasionally sand depending on contract requirements.
 
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Load and unload the blast booth.
  • Operate forklift.
  • Masks specified areas of object to protect from abrading action.
  • Employee must be able to wear provided PPE consisting of blast hood, Tyvek protective wear, steel toed protective boots, leather gloves and hearing protection.
  • Examines finished parts to ensure conformance to specifications.
  • Loads and moves materials to and from the work area.
  • May occasionally assist the paint crew in paint prep and packaging.
  • May occasionally assist in the fabrication of shipping crates.
  • Cleans and prepares surface of articles to be painted.
  • Assists in maintaining all equipment.

Operations and Logistics Coordinator

Primary Function:
The Operations & Logistics Coordinator supports daily shop operations by ensuring tools, consumables, fleet vehicles, and shipping processes run efficiently. This role is essential to maintaining production flow through effective inventory management, logistics coordination, and support of maintenance and shop personnel. The ideal candidate is organized, hands-on, and thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Tooling & Inventory Management

  • Maintain inventory levels of tools, welding consumables, and shop supplies.
  • Receive, inspect, and stock incoming materials, including Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI).
  • Issue tools and assist employees in locating materials.
  • Monitor usage and reorder supplies to prevent shortages.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records.

 Fleet Coordination

  • Assign and track company vehicles.
  • Maintain DOT mileage, inspections, and fuel records for IFTA compliance.
  • Coordinate routine vehicle maintenance.

Maintenance Support

  • Source and order parts and materials for equipment repairs and upkeep.
  • Track orders to ensure timely delivery of critical components.

Shipping & Logistics

  • Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, including:
    • Scheduling LTL shipments
    • Arranging FTL shipments with brokers
    • Preparing, packaging, and labeling shipments
  • Coordinate with office and production teams to meet deadlines.
  • Maintain shipment documentation and tracking.

Work Environment & Expectations

  • Work is performed in a manufacturing/shop environment with regular interaction on the production floor.
  • Must be comfortable working around heavy equipment, welding operations, and industrial materials.
  • Strong focus on safety, organization, and efficiency is required at all times.
